Prime Cost is led by a leadership team with a combined total of over 60 years of post-registration experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, spanning local and international markets.
QS. Evans Wanjala Simiyu
Technical Director, MRICS 22+ years of experienceOver 22 years of post-graduation experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, nationally and internationally: 10 years in consultancy in Kenya, 2 years with a main contractor in Seychelles, and 6 years as the main QS/PM consultant to the Cayman Islands Government. He has since 2021 served as Managing Director of Prime Cost Limited, overseeing daily company operations, coordination of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services, and client liaison.
QS. Jensdy Muriithi
Managing Director 24+ years of experienceA registered Quantity Surveyor with over 24 years of post-registration experience in the construction industry. He has served as Partner at Meticular Consultants Ltd since October 2020, following senior roles as Construction Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor at Britam Properties Ltd, Manager of Projects & Administration at NIC Group, and Quantity Surveyor at Barker & Barton (Kenya).
QS. Hannah Wambui Gathura
Marketing Director 24+ years of experienceOver 24 years of experience in preparation of estimates, feasibility studies, cost planning and life-cycle costing, tender documentation, and post-contract administration and project management. She was previously Partner and Senior Quantity Surveyor at Barker & Barton (Kenya) LLP (2009 to 2026), with earlier roles at Amazon Consultants, Integrated YMR Partnership, CostekAlma and Construction Cost Consultancy, and now serves as Marketing Director of Prime Cost Ltd.
QS. Charles K. Maingi
Senior Project Manager 33+ years of experienceQs. Charles holds a degree in Building Economics from the University of Nairobi and is registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS).
Qs. Charles is a seasoned Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with over 33 years of experience, having managed feasibility study works and performed technical management roles in the execution of small, large, and mega projects.
Notably, he has been involved in the following projects: Greenspan residences in Kenya, University of Global Health Equity in Kigali Rwanda, Mega mixed-use development in Dar es Salaam Tanzania, Brookhouse School Kenya and multiple defense forces projects in Kenya. He has also been involved in various arbitration projects including sitting as a member of the procurement appeals board.
QS. Molonko Kelvin Lekakeny
Senior Quantity Surveyor 6+ years of experienceQs. Kelvin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Nairobi and has over 6 years of experience.
Kelvin brings on board a wealth of experience as a Quantity Surveying consultant having handled both locally and internationally designed projects. He has also been actively involved in technical and financial audits for bank-financed projects.
Kelvin has extensive experience working as a contractor’s agent having previously worked with a leading class NCA 1 construction company in Kenya where he managed various private and public projects to their successful completion.
Kelvin utilizes the latest information technology to provide quantity surveying services and manage projects using professional market software and programs such as Cubicost, Planswift, Cubit, Office Projects, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam Revu.
QS. Dominic Mogendi Omweri
Senior Quantity Surveyor 6+ years of experienceQs. Dominic, with over 6 years of experience, is a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with vast experience in preparing BQs, cost estimates, analysis and budgets, and contract management, among others, to ensure project success within the constraints of time, cost, quality and scope.
Qs. Dominic is a passionate and goal-oriented leader in the Quantity Surveying Department, ensuring that the team is focused on achieving set deliverables within the specified timelines.
Qs. Dominic has the ability to use several software like MS packages, Win QS, Bluebeam and ArchiCAD to ensure efficiency and accuracy is achieved to the required standards.
QS. Nicole Nyachomba Nyaga
Assistant Quantity Surveyor 4+ years of experienceQs. Nicole is a highly motivated and result-driven Qs, with a strong academic background and hands-on expertise in contract administration, tender procedures, cost estimation, project management and cost control.
QS Nicole, with over 4 years of experience, has successfully contributed to projects ranging from small-scale renovations to large, complex developments.
She strives to optimize resources, minimize risks and ensure that projects meet budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
Munialo Bayayi John
Architect / Project Manager 10+ years of experienceMunialo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
Munialo is a project manager tasked with coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget and scope.
Munialo has over 10 years of experience and has an eye for detail in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and formulation of strategic plans.
